One of the best ways to spot BS is to learn how to fact check, how to spot logical fallacies, how bias works, and how scams, cults, marketing, and propaganda work. Should ALL be taught in schools. I'm also reminded of a quote by someone: "the foolish are headstrong, and the wise are full of doubt." Learn about the authoritarian mindset - how some people would rather listen to someone wrong who appears CONFIDENT, than listen to someone who is RIGHT but appears persuadable.
